Private Lessons

There are a number of reasons to work with me privately. I have worked with individual students on:

  • starting a yoga practice before going into a group class

  • decreasing anxiety

  • restorative and relaxation techniques

  • breathing

  • injuries that have been treated with physical therapy but are still hurting

  • strengthening and toning

  • tight hamstrings

  • foot issues, i.e. fallen arches, bunions

  • rotator cuff recovery

  • wrist pain

  • gaining the strength to stand up from a chair and get down to the floor

  • back pain

  • getting back to normal after surgery

In all these areas, it should be noted that I am not a doctor or physical therapist. I can help within the scope of yoga. I cannot diagnose or treat medically. If I feel you need to see a doctor or specialist, I’ll let you know.
